Part 2: Performing power measurements

 

Note: All videos presented here were performed on the PerfectPower test track (in France), a perfectly flat private road.

Videos performed on Thu 08092022 (duration 43"/38") - Two measurements performed in both directions of the road (and on the same portion), identical results because perfectly flat road and no wind that day, BUT despite that it is imperative to ask PerfectPower to average them to make the final result official & more reliable, in order to eliminate not only the (very real!) influence of the effects of road slope and wind, but also of any eventual measurement variation, even tiny!

 

In 2nd (power 300 hp (max admissible in 2nd))

PerfectPower Demo Video - BMW M3 E92 DKG under development with E85 (450 ch & 444 hp)

 

Video performed on Fri 03112023 (duration 26") - Only one video made but the measurements were performed as usual in both directions of the road with averaging of the measurements to validate the results of each map tested throughout this development with E85. To note that this video was not performed with the final map (V17) delivering 450 ch & 444 hp, but with a slightly restricted map (V18) delivering 445 ch & 439 hp.
